1990 GT40 Mk1 Replica:

Built in 1990, the car had extensive development in conjunction with GT Developments, for whom owner/driver Robin Batt was an experienced member of the works driving/track development team.

Later, it was further substantially developed by Frank Catt of Wealden Engineering. During and since that time, it has been successfully campaigned in hillclimbs and sprints over a 15 year period, with many class wins recorded. It has also been circuit raced for 4 years both in the UK and Europe.

Featuring body panels patterned to original specification and many major mechanical components constructed in the spirit of the genuine GT40s, this replica provides much of the experience offered by Fords 1960's original.

Though this is a beautifully presented car, it now enjoys fantastic patina gained from extensive use in competition producing a rare blend normally only offered by the genuine article.

By no means a competition-only trailer queen, JTR 68D is fully road registered and comes complete with documented history, MSA Logbook and comprehensive maintenance record.

MGC GT for full restoration:

This particular example has known history dating back 25 years, with a large number of photographs and documents. The original owners handbook is also present.

The car itself is an excellent basis for restoration and/or upgrade. The bodyshell is very solid, complete and will be fully stripped, dipped and electrocoated once any corrosion has been dealt with. It retains its existing 6-cylinder engine and 4-speed manual gearbox with overdrive.

We are offering this car as a bespoke build to your precise specification. Whether you require a completely original, concours entrant or a full, red blooded rally car we are happy to discuss your requirements.

This vehicle was originally finished in blue with a black interior and configured as right hand drive. If you require left hand drive we are able to build it to suit and the colour combination is obviously your own preference.
